Senza binari (I), and Senza binari (II) are drawings and sound collages of conversations surrounding the imagery of the train symbol made with my two grandmothers: Elena Solari and Carla Tognini. In this project, the research is based on the idea of the train without tracks (In Italian tracks: binari): between a need for collective resolution towards a new, surprising, reversed direction and an inadequate binary modus, a directly controlled machine and a fixed functionality of practicality and consumption.
